Appropriate Daily Clothing:
- Wear:
- Jeans
- T-shirt
- Riding shoes with a heel without a vibram sole (as similar to a cowboy boot heel as possible)
- Shorts
- Loose long sleeve shirt
- Sweatshirt
- Sneakers
- Swimsuit and towel
- Baseball cap or sun hat
- Sun screen
- Inexpensive sun glasses if you have them
- If you own your own Riding Helmet – please bring it along!
Food: Lunches, snacks, dinner on Thursday and breakfast on Friday are provided by camp and covered by the food stipend. Bring a refillable water bottle.
For the Thursday night camp out:
- Sleeping bag
- Bug spray
- Flashlight
- Light rain coat/wind breaker
- Bandana or turtleneck (limits bug bites)
- Any medication needed
- Extra pair of socks
- It could get cool, so a hat might be beneficial (for warmth and bugs).
- If you have a tent or a lantern that you’d like to use, please bring it. We usually end up sleeping under the stars on the ground or in the hay wagon.
No electronic devices are to be brought to camp! This includes phones, cameras, video games and iPods.
